RE: Physical media = false sense of security

"Ya know, if the s--- really hit the fan CDs could be fashioned into an effective weapon"

They should actually be of use without modification. We used to have surplus signaling mirrors that were double sided mirrors with an unsivered cross in the middle. Most of the back was full of directions on how to use it. Essentially the plane and sun had to be on the same side and you could flash the plane by looking at it through the cross and tilting the mirror until the projected light coming from the sun through the cross and hitting your face was lined up with the cross as seen in the rear mirror. Fortunately it was a lot easier to do than describe.

Well, what is a CD but a double sided mirror with an opening in the center? Of course instead of instructions the back has a track list but that would simply serve to weed out the misfits. If the right side rescued you the CD would make a nice gift for the crew. If the "bad guys" did then give them then the "Best of Rap" collection one to get even.

The CD's of war... When downloads just won't do!
