RE: Your Bullshit post is complete bullshit.

"If you're trying to tell me that recording some song "Jackie-Ing" in a high rez format vs. Red Book results in obvious basic frequency response deviations I say you are full of it
Short’s the best position they is.

Knowing that someone wouldn't believe the differences that their eyes were telling them with the spectrograms or plot spectrums and instead embrace their low resolution CD religious indoctrination. I actually listened to the 16/44.1kHz version before I deleted it. The 24/96 copy of "Jackie-Ing" has more ambiance, the piano rings out better, there is better overall flow to the music and it was way more comfortable. The 24/96 copy of the LP sounds excellent and the 16/44.1kHz copy is unacceptable, to me.

Also one other difference both the spectrograms or plot spectrums clearly show is that the cut-off frequencies at 16/44.1kHz drop-off like falling off a cliff and the 24/96 version the roll-off is very smooth all the way to 45kHz. The reason for this is analog devices usually roll-off at 6dB per octave which means almost all of them have ultrasonic response even if it is not flat. However digital devices have to drop 100dB with 2kHz which represents a couple of notes.
