Quite simple if high resolution digital didn't exist I would be "analog-only"

The quotes from Favorite Anti-CD Quotes were from gathered over many years, however the most recent is from this year.

From the article "Is There a Future for Hi-Rez?" you linked: "So then why do we persist even when the market tells us it doesn't matter?" Massenburg asked. "Because once we hear something and we like it, we miss it when it's taken away."

Yes, once one hears high resolution digital, low resolution digital would never again be acceptable. And if one prefers analog and finds low resolution digital unacceptably cold, dry and strident then they "may" like high resolution digital as it sounds more analog-like and more like live music. However there are many LP and tape lovers that hate all digital even high resolution digital. At least I like high resolution digital and don't hate it all. You would think I would get some acceptance for at least liking some digital. Oh, well.

JA mentioned one of the magazine's reviewers who swore he couldn't hear a difference between the CD and SACD versions of Norah Jones's "Cold Cold Heart," using very good dedicated players and excellent ancillary gear. A waveform analysis showed why: They were identical except for the usual SACD noise added to the top end. Further exploration uncovered the fact that the SACD had been made from the 16-bit/44.1kHz-sampled PCM master rather than from the original analog tape.

Norah Jones's "Cold Cold Heart" is from "Come Away With Me" which is a phony SACD from a 16/44.1kHz master and has been discussed many times on the Hi-Rez Highway. There should be no difference between the CD and SACD, since the SACD is from a 16/44.1kHz copy rather than the original analog recording. There are a few other SACDs like this one. And no I don't like SACDs from 16/44.1kHz masters either.

Thanks for the list of reviewers to not trust, I already don't trust a few of the ones you like, they are all either lying or trying to be politically correct! And it pisses me off anyone would say something so STUPID as 16/44.1kHz PCM being enough. Since 16/44.1kHz PCM is clearly not enough, all one has to do is listen. It is neanderthals such as those who are holding back high resolution in the audiophile community. They have a lot to answer for!

16/44.1kHz PCM is, to me, uncomfortable and has varying degrees of stridency no matter from what form it is in.

LPs from 16/44.1kHz PCM Unacceptable for music
CDs are 16/44.1kHz PCM Unacceptable for music
SACDs from 16/44.1kHz PCM Unacceptable for music
DVD-Audios from 16/44.1kHz PCM Unacceptable for music
Computer music audio files from 16/44.1kHz PCM Unacceptable for music

CD is so bad I cannot imagine anyone who has a half-decent system preferring it to any other format. In fact if CD was all there was I would chose to listen to no music at all.

I am so tired of people propping up the low resolution CD format, I am so sick of their supporters.

Sometimes I wish high resolution digital was never invented, then I would be analog-only , people seem to tolerate anti-digital people better than they tolerate anti-CD people.

In short you made NO SALE as I am not buying your arguments, when I went to CES in 2011 SACDs, 24 bit computer music files, LPs and 2 Track 15 ips reel to reels sounded fantastic and 16/44.1kHz PCM sounded like pure crap and I could tell the minute I walked into a room playing low resolution digital.

You are barking up the wrong tree with you unbelievable Pro-CD propaganda. Perhaps you should read my 2011 CES report to get a better perspective.
