"we can not dismiss what she hears"

Under the circumstance, sure you can, and you should. Aren't you trying to guide potential consumers in an informed manner? Aren't you trying to help people make decisions about what to buy on some informed basis? I mean, if I read reviews of Kubala Sosna cables by your reviewers, am I supposed to read them with the caveat that the reviewers might reject how 90% of other audiophiles hear things? I sure as hell hope not. If I am supposed to read all of what you publish with such a huge grain of salt, then what in the world ARE you trying to do? What is your goal and why do you exist? (And lest you think I am naive, I generally do not trust reviews without home auditioning equipment before I buy it, but I at leas trust that a publication will not be reckless about what it publishes).

I am trying to be polite here, because this is a tough group and i don't need to pile on. But what Teresa hears is entirely unclear and seemingly changes like the weather. You must know that, and so I can only conclude that you are being cheeky in a very dismissive and cynical way, because you are harming new hobbyists who are trying to find their way if you publish whatever Teresa wants to claim to hear on any given day.

(You are certainly aware that she dumped her entire SACD collection after building a dedicated site to the format touting how great it was. At some point she seemingly changed her mind AGAIN, because now she pushes the format AGAIN. That at one time she reviewed, on PF I think, an entry level Yamaha universal player as the solution to CD playback. It was WONDERFUL (and by implication better than just about any other player regardless of technology or quality of components). Misleading nonsense, of course, but that is not my point, because now all CDs sound bad (I guess even on the magical Yamaha). But that's not all - she claims that no one who believes that 16/44 formats sound good can even be trusted to opine on audio. Also, she once insisted that one must never, EVER, play an LP more than once within 24 hours (not 23 or 22, but 24), claiming authority existed but refusing to find/cite it and refusing to otherwise back up her claims.)

There is no consistency, there is no stability, and frankly there is seemingly no sanity. So, yes, your publication should dismiss what she claims to hear because it will change tomorrow and it will mislead hobbyists.

You have some very good reviewers, but Teresa, God bless her and keep her, is not one of them, and your publication is not credible overall if you defend her flip-flopping, let alone extremist nonsense and attacks on others, with an off hand comment that one can never dismiss what someone else claims to hear on any given day or week.

It seems to me that this is all a big cynical joke to you. Fine. Enjoy your chuckle. It is just a hobby afterall.
