RE: I like LPs, Reel to Reel tapes, SACD, DVD-Audios and high resolution downloads.

Ya know, there is a wide variation among people with regard to hearing sensitivity/acuity.

As an extreme example, I knew a guy who could NOT tolerate loud or "high crest factor" sounds. The sound of closing a file cabinet drawer was excrutiating to him.

Maybe Teresa is hyper-sensitive, and doesn't realize it. It's quite possible that she should be working in a field which doesn't involve listening to music. For example, working at the County tax office. Good pay, health insurance benefits, retirement benefits - it don't git no better than that.

Scraping by as a "reviewer" who can't pay their own bills strikes me as someone who's either a newbie or not very good in their chosen field.

I listen with my own ears, and some CDs are excellent, and some totally suck.

Just like LPs.

Maybe I should be a reviewer. Then, I could make 10K a year, and have the taxpayers cover the rest of my expenses.

Yeah, Mozart died a pauper. Teresa ain't no Mozart.
