RE: Teresa Goodwin and Positive Feedback

OK.

I have read it and it was good. I recommend it to anyone with significant temporal experience listening to recorded music as they may find much to identify with.

Bummer that you didn't care for it, but that's just part of life's rich pageant. Perhaps your tastes have never drifted but I think it's quite common. One of my friends had a familial curse: a sudden craving to listen to country and western after forty. He however was confident that he was immune, but guess what? Even yours truly has a whole shelf full of, of, I don't even know what it's called but it's boring, repetitive, tinkly crap from the '80's. Think Windham Hill. New age? I used to love it, now I loath it, but I sure am keeping it 'cause who knows what the future holds?

On the other hand I've never not liked classical or opera...

As far as reviewers go I'm sure that we all have different sets of those we enjoy, those we trust, and those we mock. And even there our own boundaries are somewhat fluid. I will admit that I am always surprised that everyone doesn't agree with me and that clearly obvious lids have avid followers, but I'm getting used to it.
