But that's akin to rubbing salt into a wound. Why go out of one's way to (1) honk off the manufacturer of product "XYZ-2000" (2) fill the editor's mailbox with the rants and ramblings of a whole host of neurotic audiophiles who purchased "XYZ" precisely because the magazine's reviewers insisted it was the one to buy...last year? The manufacturer/audio journal relationship is a symbiotic one (read: cozy).
Allow me to offer some unsolicited advice: Don't confuse hype with fact. Both the parasite and the host have to survive. Learn to read BETWEEN the lines. :)
