ah, yes, one doesn't want to be 'known' to our friends at the irs. yes, we know about accommodation, but there is an 'unspokeness' - so to speak - amongst reviewers re the interplay of 'accommodation' and how they assign value or comparative worth to very expensive equipment, versus more mundane fare, which does not often take into account the objective conditions/affordability constraints faced by most of their readers. i am not arguing that reviewers need by social workers, hardly, but they do sit in a rather fortunate position, as opposed to their audience, re acquiring reference quality equipment; their privileged position should be at least acknowledged to readers ( especially when waxing unelonquently about some speaker cables ( lololol. lordy what a piece of dreck writing).
