I understand that impedance/capacitance issues affect amp/spkr./wire compatibility, but that can surely be addressed cheaply. At any rate, *you can't extract what ain't there to begin with*.

What I don't get is if all the detail, hall ambience etc. that reviewers claim was revealed to them by XYZ cables gets *on* the recording thru mundane wire, why would it require superwire to fully *reveal* it in playback?

I think you know I'm not coming from "all wire (or anything else) sounds the same." I use Discovery ic's and spkr. cable.
