Re: In the early days of recording, capacity was an even bigger problem.

Well now, in the dawn of electric audio recording, obviously there were only analog formats, they played a grand total of 3mins per sides with a frequency range 100Hz-5KHz, I would call that a severe limitation 8^), the LP arrived over 40 years later to increase the capacity to 35min per side. IOW, in the early days capacity was a problem.
