It's a Catch-22

Especially when break in occurs over several weeks or months. Everybaudiophile worth his salt is not going to be waiting around and watching thr paint peel on the walls and keeping track of how things are breaking in. He's going to be doing what he always does, the way he's always done it, he'll be changing cables, rearranging electronics, adding room treatments, trying out new tweaks, all the rest of it. There is no way in heck anybody can track break-in and determine its effect unless he's not really an audiophile. It's catch 22.
