RE: ATC's SCM40 3-way tower gets a great review (NOT by me)

They sound nice but the response on the pair at work has a fairly big notch in the response in the high mid. That gives them an airy sound with the hf resuming above the notch. Others have measured this too, there was "the British sound" perhaps that is it.
