RE: Stereophile class “A” integrated’s - are they held up to the same standard?

FWIW... I switched from Stereophile "A" separates (pre, power and phono) to a very nice integrated amp (LSA Signature and some NOS tubes) with a phono stage. Truth to the man upstairs... it sounds a lot better than the separates ever did, it takes up a lot less space, my electric bills are lower, I sold a bunch of interconnects and i just listen to the music now. Couldn't be happier and won't be getting on the separates train again. Go listen to or borrow some integrateds and test them in your system. A lot easier to demo one component than two or three and interconnects.
