All I said was that when I used a calibrated microphone, a noise generator, and a spectrum analyzer to get "measured flat" response, it didn't sound flat to my ears. Seems to me Bruce from DC came to the same conclusion. I think I read his posting correctly. This only goes to demonstrate what I said all along and say again, the FR of a loudspeaker is much more complicated than a single curve and the method of measurement we have doesn't correlate to performance. It doesn't matter which brand name equipment you use, it's the method which is wrong because it is based on a false or incomplete analysis of what is happening.
