In concert halls, as sound decays, high frequencies decay more rapidly than middle and lower frequencies. This can be seen by a comparison of RT as a function of frequency which is ideally around 1.8 to 2.0 seconds at 1 khz but falls to around 1.2 seconds at 10 khz. Therefore if you want a sound system to emulate the sound of musical instruments as they are heard at a live concert, pick a frequency response, any frequency response....and it will be wrong.
