Re: Measurements and Listening

"I was recently reminded by another post, of John Atkinson's assertion a while back --something along the lines of how surprised he is to very frequently find a lack of correlation between measurements and listening."
Having had some of that equipment on my bench and in my own personal system and then field testing that very same equipment in other systems makes me scratch my head and wonder just what someone at Stereophile heard, or think they heard.
I find measurements very useful, then again I usually do measurements that most folks really don't want to talk about, or don't have enough knowledge to talk about or whatever.
