Well, it confirmed what you said above about the need to place dipoles carefully--unless you think that only applies to Maggies. It also confirms my point that some wide dispersion forward radiating speakers are easier to place.
I've done the dipole thing, and find my current forward radiating speakers give me better results in our house than the Quad 63s did.
