Re: Don, do you have any idea as to how much time a review takes?

What's Arizona got to do with this - there are no dealers in this state who I consider exceptional. There might be a couple of shops that are ok and a couple of others that are functional. There's 4 or 5 people plus maybe 2 reviewers in this whole audio world who's opinions I can trust and none of them are in Arizona.

I'd venture to say there's probably less than 5 dealers in the whole country that I would consider exception and probably less than a couple of dozen that would be worthy of such consideration from others (ie. they have good opinions but the different significantly from mine).

Good dealers and good audio shops really are a thing of the past and with such mediocrity being represented in most shop it's no wonder that specialist 2 channel audio appears to be on it's last legs. Don't believe me - then why in the heck would high end audio magazines, in addition to supporting the industries manufacturers by giving praise to every component reviewed, be covering multi-channel, low cost vintage recievers and iPods?

Give me rhythm or give me death!
