What do I want for what?

I'm only sharing an opinion that was made to me by a couple of dealers and some other audiophiles.

The proposition is that the major magazines make it difficult for dealers to sell equipment they consider "best". Of course life would be easier for the dealer to blow off their core audiophile experiences and philosophies and stock their shelves with magazine recommendations - in fact if you go from shop to shop you will see the shelves stocked mostly with equipment in Stereophile or TAS recommended components lists, ie. with components that chose Stereophile or TAS as marketing vehicles.

What do I want? Heck I want dealers who actually have an opinion on what's good and bad to actually be able to stock their stores with that gear - not with mostly gear marketed in the magazines.
Give me rhythm or give me death!
