Please see the link below for a super-helpful and super-meticulous guy who specializes in doing this kind of thing for old books that are out-of-print and have no copyright restrictions.
Audio (and Audio Electronics) magazine may be a bit of a stretch for him. It's also less clear about the copyright laws. But I would suggest contacting him directly to find out. It would be of tremendous value to the entire world. Currently I have no idea of how to access these old magazines. Thirty or forty years ago I would go to the archives in the basement of the local university library, reading everything they had and making (B&W) photocopies of interesting articles. (At $0.10 per page and on a student's budget, my resources were limited. Besides, I don't think that library's archives went back before the early '50s at best.) Thanks!
