RE: "making hifi mags better and more interesting and attracting more, more diverse..."

You being a jazz musician, I thought you would appreciate this.

I picked up a free copy of Jazztimes magazine (who say that "According to the latest edition of The All-Music Guide, JazzTimes is arguably the number one jazz magazine in the world.") while at this year's RMAF. I rediscovered that in each issue they have a column titled "AudioFiles" written by Brent Butterworth, in which he writes audio equipment reviews and covers audio related topics.

So, Jazztimes is exposing fans of jazz to Hi-Fi which may lead them to Hi-Fi mags/e-zines.
