I'm sure he's a good mastering engineer, but it's clear he doesn't know an apodizing filter from a muskrat.
I'm sick and tired of all the MQA paranoia at this point. There will be plenty of time to see if it meets its promise. Wacky conspiracy theories about magazine editors won't get us there. Listening will, and technical disclosure.
What I have read about it makes sense, is even obvious from an engineering perspective.
How effectively they've pulled it off is what has to be determined next.
