This is a total myth, promoted by political folks. Whenever you see this stuff, RUN! It's all about politics. "Normal" people don't care if they're talking with a White, Black or Orange person. We just want competence. That's all.

(Edit: No 'slight' intended to Central Americans for being left out of this thread, at least on my part.)
