RE: Man, its 2017. How many black reviewers does S'phile have? How about other hifi mags/e-zines?

If my livelihood depended on sales of hifi gear (which is true for the mags as well as hifi manufacturers) I wouldn't be satisfied with just appealing to Asian audiophiles and old white guys and claiming nobody else is interested. I'd be *proactive* and make an effort to attract a bigger and more varied customer base.


So how do they go about that? With all the recent "gun law" talk, every talking head says "they need to do this", "congress should do that"...it's always somebody else taking the action. So If JA came to you and said..."hey I need your advice about getting minority groups into the audiophile hobby".....what would you tell him? I would hope you would have more ideas than just "hire black writers".
