Reading with amusement the last few weeks' worth of threads, some observations - and a question:

- I can't help but think of Peter Aczel. I always thought that recently deceased bitter old man was wrong about pretty much everything he spewed on his pages and later on the web. I still think so, except for a single expression - "transparently insincere" - applied to John Atkinson. If someone's in doubt, just look at his ducking and dodging on the few pages directly below.

- There are some conclusions that each of us can draw from a review of any piece of equipment. Likewise, for a new, highly controversial digital format like MQA - normally, we would be at least curious to read what the reviewer heard. The question is though - if said reviewer is unable to hear a difference between 2 wildly different DACs, what is his opinion good for, considering that I personally have NEVER heard 2 DACs sound the same? To me - for absolutely nothing.

- Can someone remind me again - why was Isaac P. Garvey banned? :-)
