RE: It ain't just a claim.

Just got a UV-1 a couple of weeks ago on a whim. No phono in mine. Dropped in some old Tung Sols and off to a great start. Should you tinker and remove the bottom, the nuts are not fixed to chassis. I had to shake it around a bit to get them out. Good thing it's light.
