RE: Man, its 2017. How many black reviewers does S'phile have? How about other hifi mags/e-zines?

Here's the question that should be asked. "How many black audio journalists have applied to work for the various publications?"

That question will probably lead to the answer as to why very few black writers in the audio field.

Same with audio manufacterers, dealers, everything else.

If qualified black audio journalists are knocking on the doors and being denied opportunity, then that should be addressed. Are tons of black race car drivers being turned away from NASCAR and IRL? Every sector of the economy is not going to look like perfect equality. Lets face it, some cultures are not interested in some things while others are.
