True. But is the goal to attract more people or just fizzle out when us old white guys cak?

Kinda tough to attract minorities if the hifi biz and mags about hifi lack minority representation, and seemingly lack a desire to attract minority/female customers. I seriously doubt any of us has ever heard the biggest selling music worldwide played at a hifi show, nor mentioned in a hifi review. Yeah, I'm not a fan either, but rap fans aren't all either deaf or too broke to buy hifi. Hear much r&b or salsa at shows, or see r&b/salsa recordings mentioned in reviews?

Ya know not every rap recording is musically horrendous and has nothing but bitch/motherf#^*er/nigga lyrics and is poorly recorded, and there's plenty of r&b and salsa recordings that contain appealing music and sound good via a nice system. I've sure as hell heard plenty of lame music written/played/sung by whites at hifi shows and seen the same referenced in reviews.

There's a lotta moaning about a lack of interest in hifi and a helluva lot of young blacks, Latinos and women in the world. Think they're gonna be attracted to mags written by and for old white guys?
