Hi Sue,

With all due respect (and not trying to be sexist) as a woman reviewer (let alone interested in high-end audio in the first place), you are clearly an outlier.

Is it possible that the lack of "testosterone poisoning" would remove the "competitive urge" found in most men - presumably due to the testosterone? (There is a reason that competitive men's sports are far more popular than competitive women's sports.)

Is it not also possible that among reviewers their "competitive urge" to uncover the "latest and greatest" (good or bad) might be repressed in the conscious mind but running strongly in their sub-conscious?
