RE: Nit picking is a cheap substitute for solid reasoning...

The demand that the interconnects have equal break-in time is where it falls apart for me. This line of thinking demonstrates that we're at a point where sonic differences are so minute that they are of no interest to me.

Maybe we need to start blind testing interconnect break-in. Start with two identical new pairs and verify that they're indistinguishable. Start breaking one pair in and do listening tests every x hours until a difference is heard.
