I don't know much about Richard, except this...A couple years ago, while on my "Great Bay Area Audio Adventure", one of the places I wanted to go was Parasound. Richard and I had emailed a couple times about me coming there. Other than knowing I was a friend of John's, he didn't know me from Adam. On my trip, I was coming back northward from McCune A/V/L (where Dave V. was also very nice), and decided it would be a good time to stop at Parasound. This was really going out on a limb. Let me tell y'all, Parasound is not easy to find! So, I get there, and call Richard about stopping in. He says "Sure, when will you be here?". I says, "Actually, I'm in your parking lot right now." So, ...
HE, not an employee, comes outside to meet me. THEN, he gives me a tour of the facility, and we sit and chat for a half an hour. Un-announced. Total stranger.
I thought that was pretty darn nice!
