HG was one reviewer I read in helping my Dad get his LP collection. Long story, but those records still remain, close to mint in the family home. Lots of Szell, Karajan, lieder, Mozart and Beethoven there. DGG and CBS/Epic.Lebrecht is a bit melodramatic and opinionated; one highlight of the book was when he described the actual scene when poor Herb v K passed to eternity.
