RE: best Beethoven symphonies set

The '63 issue was a complete set -- "The Nine for our time." I have the boxed set that I bought at that time. It is not a "Bicentenary Edition". I have some of those, too.

Over fifty five years now it has provided many hours of enjoyment. Not a bad investment!
