Agreed. The Leibowitz is a fine set. The only weakness is the entrance of the bass in the 9th Symphony, but really, he is just did a bit of old-fashioned swooping there.. But the 9th is outstanding over all. This set should be much better known. It is expensive, though.
Karajan 1963 is very fine, the main weakness being the 6th Symphony, which is rather business like. The CD set is available inexpensively.
