I once brought over the Simon Halsey Rundfunkchor Berlin multi-channel/stereo (I don't have a multi-channel setup) recording to an acquaintance's home. He had a very large room (~20 x 30 x 12) with a very high end multi-channel system employing large Von-Schweikert speakers. Something like 10 speakers/subwoofers (with two on the sides), with the VR6s being the smallest, as I recall.It was glorious.
