RE: Does anyone know the details about why Rafael Druian quit the Cleveland Orchestra?

D and Szell weren't getting along. There was a cancelled rehearsal that D wasn't informed of, and he took umbrage. To avenge himself D did not show for the next rehearsal. S said he was in violation of his contract and fired him.
