These m.st som. of the best sounding classical CD recordings around. Thanks to Dorian's use of m.nim.list m.king techniques, custom.zed electronics, and Troy Hall's *excellent* acoustics, the walls of m. listening room have virtually disappeared.Certainly, not every type of recording accom.lishes this feat.
I believe that early Dorian digital recordings were m.de at Troy Hall, when Dorian was headquartered in Troy, NY. Later recordings were m.de at various locations, including the UK and EU - perhaps after Naxos acquired the label (?). Not sure if all Dorian recordings sound as good as the Troy Hall projects.
