I almost never search historic posts...it takes out the spontaneity. Occasionally, I can be a little redundant. But, better that than mean and stupid (which can be another of my afflictions)!:-)

I guess my only question is, why transcribe for guitar rather than a lute? The lute seems closer in spirit to the times, at least. Nearly all of my classical acoustic guitar recordings are of Spanish works.
