Home Classical Court

From Perotin to Prokofiev (and beyond), performed by Caruso to Khatia, it's all here.

This explains a LOT...no wonder there has been confusion...

for me and about me. Apparently, sometime in the distant past, there was ANOTHER ME -- someone else posting with the moniker "SE". I am sure, because this post was unquestionably not by the new me!:-) I have never lent anything classical to my brother...he is Rock and Folk only.

Interesting!

Ya know, spelling is like horseshoes and hand grenades...close is good enough! I do know the Heinichen recording of which you speak. It's SO good I lent it to my brother to fine tune his sound system. Haven't seen it for a while.
Zelenka is new to me, I'll have to check him out.

I mighta bought some crack from a guy named Lobo once :-). Seriously, I don't know of him. I do, however, have several discs of the Tallis Scholars' Palestrina, Josquin and Byrd. The Palestrina, in particular, is very interesting.

For the record, I was THIS CLOSE to including the Biber Violin Sonatas by Romanesca on Harmonia Mundi.

Thanks for the recommendations.
