Although it utilizes the traditional instruments of classical music, I'm not sure it can be called "classical" in any real sense. Perhaps avant garde or what I term "hyper-modern"...or even "inchoate"!:-)It seems that everything is like this now, so I choose to roll with it, rather than be rolled-over by it. In other words, I am DONE with "knowledge" -- I've moved on to "possibilities"...which is what I think stuff like Scelsi is about. That said, I can only enjoy this type of organized sound as a side dish to a core, traditional, nutritional diet of mainstream classical composers. I am not a musical crackhead!:-)
