Sorry...what is "Northern European"? The recordings I have pursued do have a lot of Italian (unavoidable in Opera), but she recently did Schumann and Brahms (that one will be under this year's Xmas tree!:-)
On a somewhat different note, I think that it is VERY hard for a contemporary singer to issue "fresh" recordings that aren't simply the same old repertoire. Garanca's discs are, at least somewhat-sometimes, off the beaten path.
BTW, I did a search and do see your past recommendations for Garanca -- many of the "new" recordings that have caught my attention are from c.2006/7, so these must be those, so to speak!:-)
