You still do but the Musicians Benevolent Society has adopted a more 21st century working name : Help Musicians. To the point, no?
Of course those payment rates are pre-tax and other deductions.
To put it in perspective the minimum salary needed to get a mortgage to buy a house in Bournemouth is £34,087. Too bad for those players who are not Section Leaders.
