on Schumann's Orchestration.
Voicemail Ordering System:
Press One if you want to hear what a Schumann Symphony would sound like if
he knew ANYTHING at all about Orchestration.
Press Two if you'd like to hear every Seventh Note removed, and arranged into a separate Piece.
Press Three if you want to hear it played by Sampled Marmosets.
Press Four if you want to hear it played by a Financially Challenged Community Orchestra ( Ouch! ).
Interestingly, Brahms' Orchestration has also been criticised.
To me, it's Part and Parcel of his sound.
I love it!
