RE: Is there a recording of Bach's Cello Suite 6 on a 5 stringed instrument?

There is evidence that Bach originally composed the cello suites for the violoncello da spalla, which can be 4 or 5 string version and played on the shoulder (not upright). Search on Google and YouTube for "violoncello da spalla bach" to find discussions and videos.
