based on my limited listening that I never wanted to explore... I heard his 15th Symphony live in Chicago with Solti in his last appearance with the CSO. It just struck me as music of the bizarre. On the other hand in the same program was The Prelude To Khovanshchina one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard....
