A pity as I am a fan of Roth. Incidentally there is a new issue of Les Siecles playing the three great ballets by Stravinsky together with some smaller pieces of orientalism (Glazunov, Greig etc.) associated with Les Ballets Russes.
I think these are reissues by Harmonia Mundi of recordings originally issued by Actes Sud Musicales a few years ago. HM have marginally improved the sound which is variable these being live recordings culled from a number of different concerts (as is the norm with Les Siecles).
Forget the HIP label and just enjoy some wonderful performances.
BTW, I have seen them a couple of times in London and Roth managed to create a warm rapport with the audience on both occasions. You just feel somehow involved. On one of the occasions the encore was M.Roth singing a Daft Punk number in line with their French music core objective :-).
