Home Classical Court

From Perotin to Prokofiev (and beyond), performed by Caruso to Khatia, it's all here.

There are several great recordings of that piece.....

Including Jansons with the London Philharmonic and Beecham with the RPO. Barry Wordsworth later conducted Scheherazade with the RPO in their most recent Audiophile series and it is VERY good as well. David Zinman recorded some Rimsky pieces with the Rotterdam Philharmonic that get overlooked quite a bit and they are well recorded and wonderful as well... However, for a LIVE performance I LOVE this one under Elim Chan's baton with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and then of course there is the LIVE performance with Maestro Celibidache and the Stuttgart Philharmonic... ALL six are gems!....
