I just received his complete DG box set. In the accompanying booklet it mentions that he refused to release quite a few recordings. Does his estate still have control of them? If not, why wouldn't DG release them now or sell the tapes to another company that would?
I also find it interesting that the box has a blu-ray disc with all the CD's on it, supposedly with better sound.
