RE: Big fan of the Kubelik, in spite of merely OK sound quality

Your mention of Walter's approach to Mahler's 9th reminded me of Klemperer's recording of the piece for Walter Legge. I've b.en listening to that on UK vinyl for 20 years. I guess one could say I'm in a rut, b.t there is something satisfying ab.ut it none the less.
