Quite a few times in the past I've been on the phone talking to a tech support person or such and had Bach piano music playing on my stereo. "That is beautiful music you're listening to," has been the usual comment.
I tell them what it is, then I get a usual disinterested, "Oh" reply.
If you keep being told it's old and boring then it becomes so.
